Learn A Demanding Trade

Your job will never be outsourced.

Choosing your career will be the most important decision you will be faced with at your young age, as this will shape your future.  The masonry trade is a learned skill that can put you in charge of your own destiny.

The masonry trade has a shortage of skilled craftsmen.  This is a very demanding profession and a dying skill, because most people have overlooked this area or dismissed it as something they don't want to do.

The tradesmen who started they're mason-careers after World War II have now retired and few young people have chosen this as they're profession.

It is extremely beneficial to learn a trade because you can still pursue other interests and you will always have your first skill to return to.

Learning the masonry trade doesn't mean you have to commit yourself to only one skill for the rest of your life and it doesn't even have to be your principal trade, but do let it be your first trade.

By staying in the service industry, "Trades", you will always work locally and you will not find yourself competing with people on the other side of the world.

The masonry trade does not belong to any one group or race or social class.  I, myself, know many Masons who are wealthy and others who are not and none are too important to lay Brick, Block, Glass Block, Stone, Tile, Stucco, Tuckpointing or Concrete Finishing.

If you are creative, and want to put yourself in a position making yourself necessary to commerce, this trade is for you.
